Descrizione

Villa Antica Aia è composta da un’ampia zona living dove è possibile condividere pranzi e cene con la vostra famiglia o gruppo di amici. Il soggiorno offre la possibilità di rilassarsi sul divano di fronte alla TV. La cucina in muratura con caratteristica fornacella e forno a legna tipico dei casali in pietra degli anni ‘50, è ben attrezzato di tutto ciò che occorre.

Al piano terra le camere sono tre: due adiacenti al soggiorno di cui una con bagno privato; l’altra esterna alla casa, con ingresso indipendente e bagno privato. Al primo piano ci sono altre quattro camere di cui tre con bagno privato.

La veranda si affaccia sul giardino dove insiste la piscina, rendendola ancora più rilassante. Il barbeque si trova adiacente alla veranda la quale è dotata anche di forno e fuochi esterni.

Tutte le camere e gli ambienti dispongono di aria condizionata.

5.0 "Tutto perfetto!"

Abbiamo affittato la villa per un retreat aziendale ed è stata un'esperienza fantastica. La villa è davvero stupenda, il giardino esterno è molto curato e le stanze sono belle ed accoglienti. Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo in piscina, a fare una gara di cucina tra di noi (è presente una cucina interna e una esterna col barbecue) e a passare le serate in terrazzo. Ma a parte questo, quello che ha colpito tutti in particolar modo è la disponibilità e gentilezza di Oriana che è davvero sorprendente. Non era mai capitato di incontrare un host così attento a lasciarci soddisfatti in ogni nostra richiesta. Consigliatissima e spero che potremmo tornare presto :)

We spent 1 week in July in Villa Antica Aia. We particularly liked the outside of the house which is beautiful with the garden and its tropical trees! The trees provide shade which is great on hot summer days. The villa is high up from the sea but only a 10 minute drive away. The interior of the house is charming and the house is large. The kitchen is a bit old and lacks a bit of ameneties for the more demanding guests. Oriana, the manager, is very kind, available and accommodating. The Sicilians in the area are all very welcoming too. We recommend this charming house for holidays!

The house was incredible! Oriana is so friendly, helpful and communicated extremely well. She was quick at responding and even brought us local food for dinner called arancini. Each room and bathroom was impressive, and every need that we had was addressed. Not only was the house beautiful, but the backyard was perfect for lounging and relaxing. The pool was perfect for our family, and everyone enjoyed their time there. We are all so grateful to have experienced Sicily in this fashion, especially the beach! The local beach was 10 minutes away by car and had (by far) the softest sand. It’s also perfect for families of all ages because of the small waves and slow decline into the crystal clear water.

We were six adults and one child that stayed in Orianas house for a week. The house was perfect for us there was room for more people. Oriana is a fantastic landlord/host and informed us about things to do and where to go nearby. Very good communication with her in English. The house was very clean and they cleaned the pool every day. All in all a very enjoyable stay for our family. Strongly recommend

Spacious, stylishly decorated home with a lovely and friendly host. Home was very well located. we were a group of 3 families, with 5 kids. the pool and large garden were great for the kids to run around and play. Oriana also organised a riccotta making session with a local pastry chef for the kids. highly recommended home to explore Ragusa.

Oriana ist eine tolle und sehr aufmerksame, sich um alles kümmernde Gastgeberin. Die Villa ist wunderschön und dank der vielen Zimmer und Badezimmer bestens geeignet für große Familien oder Freundesgruppen. Wir haben uns mit fünf Teenagern und vier Erwachsenen dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch Ende Oktober konnten wir noch baden gehen und die Sonne genießen. Scicli (nächstgelegene Stadt) und Sampieri (nächstgelegener Strand) sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar und sehr schön. Alles in allem: Das Haus ist wärmstens zu empfehlen

Villa Antica Aia is a five star experience in respect of both the property’s ambience and the host’s hospitality. Oriana and her family’s hospitality surpassed all other’s that we have before experienced in any self-catering hire. We received immediate and helpful response to all communications and her delightful welcoming Sicilian pastries and confectionaries were excellent - in particular the children made short work of the cookies! The furnishing and decoration of the Villa is perfectly balanced and it felt really homely. The functional and well equipped kitchen and BBQ were a pleasure to use. The garden is nicely laid out. While it was still quite cold when we visited the children (and some adults) enjoyed the pool which is screened from the wind and surroundings by tall hedges. The Villa lies a tranquil rural setting within about a 10 minute drive to supermarkets, butchers and restaurants; good recommendations are found in the ‘house-booklet’. It is ideally situated as a base from which to explore and discover the charms and history of the baroque towns of the Syracuse-Ragusa region. Beaches, such as that at Marina di Modica and much liked by the children, are a few kilometres away. Oriana drew our attention to the extensive Tuesday local market in Scicli. The beginners Italian lesson given in the Villa garden by Paola, who has studied English at University in Sicily and Dublin and by working in Ireland, covered introductions, telling the time, and ordering at restaurants - it was really practical and very useful. One word of caution to those not familiar with the roads and the towns of the region - some streets (and some roads) are VERY narrow. Go with the smallest hire car you feel comfortable.
